Jacob really enjoyed learning how to pass and run with the ball and listened to Coach Cory for a special training sesssion at school.

Duffy award winner!

Jacob received his first Duffy award in Rm 24 for writing a story about his feelings. He got to choose a Duffy book to take home. Kapai mahi, from Mrs Carter.

Making paper snakes!

Today I had fun folding two pieces of coloured paper and then glued them together to create this pretend snake. I learnt about over and under and repeating the pattern.

PES picnic!

On Friday 26th February we enjoyed a hikoi down to Pt England reserve to have a picnic lunch, swim in the sea with Mrs Carter, play on the playground and make sandcastles on the beach. It was great to see you having so much fun Jacob and see how much you like being in the water. This is part of our Term 1 Inquiry topic of Cherish our Treasures - Tiaki Taonga. We learnt to look after our natural environment and not leave our rubbish behind.
